The purpose of my practice is to help parents with concerns regarding their child’s learning and behavior. In my practice I strive to link assessment to intervention to increase academic success. By focusing not only on the identification of a disability but also on the areas of skills deficits the assessment process is enhanced. By employing a comprehensive evaluation approach utilizing multiple assessment tools I am able to identify specific academic skills deficits. I use an ecological approach to understand a child’s behavior. This approach considers the whole child and the interactions of the child within the environment.
